18 ayaat make up Surah Al-Taghabun, which was revealed at Madinah. The Holy Prophet (Sal Allaho Alehi Wasallam) is reported as saying that the individual who recite this Quran will be secure at the moment of his death.
According to Imam Ja'far as-Sadiq (a.s.), reciting this Surah during the faraa'idh (obligatory prayers) will cause this Surah to speak for the person on the Day of Judgment until he is permitted to join Jannah. Also, it is reported that reciting this Surah will shield a person from the oppression of the ruling class. This is a sacred belief that we must respect.
